Recycle your jars and containers into something spooky for halloween

It's a Wrap! HOLIDAY

I live this set!  What great gifts for teachers, Care-givers or to just throw in the lunchbox when you want to share a little joy.

EEK!

Create the cute candies using Stampin Up "It's a Wrap Holidays" stamp set and Hershey Treasures.  I added a fun plastic spider to up the EEK! factor.
Stamp the image on an Avery label, affix to decorative paper and then tape around your candy.  Place in a pretzel bag and top with a decorative label.
I also placed a spider inside a bag for some added fun!

This set has 7 stamps:
4 You
EEK!
Give Thanks
Happy St Paddy's
Happy Easter
LOVE and Very Merry

I'll post some other gift sets and card ideas in the coming weeks!

Batty for Halloween!

I made this cute little guy our of one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock!  The body and wings were embossed with a spiderweb design and I added googly eyes for fun!  The legs are cellophane bags "stuffed" with licorice whips.  His body will be filled with some sweet Halloween Treat!
What a great Party favor!

Come to Caring Cards on September 21, 2011 and make one of these for yourself (in addition to 5 card selections)

Or use M&Ms for the legs if you prefer!

Halloween Decorative Box

This adorable bok only took about an hour to create and that included coming up with the ideas!
I bought this box at the dollar store and lighly sprayed with brown spray paint (front and back).  The result was more of a misted effect and worked nicely.

Next I cut assorted squares for the backgrounds.  I layed these out quilt style until I got a dsign that was pleasing to my eye.
Next I pulled out all my Halloween/Fall stamps and embellishments and got to work creating!
I used the following Stampin Up supplies
Stamp sets:  Batty For You and Wicked Cool
plus one really old set (Can't remember it's name)
and a few assorted NON-Stampin' up things (GASP!)
assorted punches, ribbons and embellishments

What do you Think???
Have fun making these for yourself!
